Wireless keyboard not working

Changed batteries after receiving warning that they were low.

Reinstalled with new batteries and now it is not recognized by bluetooth ?

Restarted iMac twice.

Any suggestions?

iMac (24-inch Mid 2007), Mac OS X (10.4.7)

Hello:

Try resettimg the SMC (and PRAM, if you are able).
