Trouble printing via Netgear N900 (WNDR4500) WLAN router

Hi!

I am referring to the same problem as addressed in the following thread:

http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=327430

I can print wireless w/o problems when I use my outdated and very slow Thinkpad T60 together with my Netgear N900 (WNDR4500) WLAN router and Canon PIXMA iP2700 printer.

But I cannot print wireless when I use my MacBook Pro OS X 10.8 instead together with my Netgear N900 and Canon PIXMA iP2700.

Originally nothing at all worked when I used my MacBook Pro OS X 10.8 together with my Netgear N900 and Canon PIXMA iP2700. I received the error notification "printer is not connected".

After following the instructions of the thread mentioned above ( http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=327430 ) I have some activity after submitting a wireless print job, but after a few seconds I now receive the error notification: "printer is in use" and nothing happens then.

Can anyone help?

Thank you very much!

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion

10.8 was just released, so there are bound to be a few problems with third party hardware/software etc., may take time to get a update from NetGear or whomever. Perhaps your printer maker too.

Tr yto print with a cable directly to the printer, then add devices to try to find out which one is causing the problem
