Apple did not release any migration documents specifically for OS X Server (Mountain Lion) - so far.
My trial and error testings by exporting my CalDAV postgres SQL database from Lion and importing it on a OS X Server (Mountain Lion) wasn't successful.
I wonder if somebody here found a solution and is willing to share the steps.
Let me re-phrase it:
I want to migrate from a Lion server to Mountain Lion. The migration will be a move to a new hardware which means, I want to start with a fresh copy of Mountain Lion and OS Server.
How can I migrate the Calendar (iCal) and the Addressbook? A simple psql backup and restore did not do the trick and ended up with a total corruption of the calendar database.
If someone already has achieved this, I would like to know what steps have been taken.

Did you try using the Server.app migration feature that comes up when you first run it on the brand new MLion box? Really you should not be attempting manual migration of data from just one service like this. In the case of calendar data, we store information not just in postgres, but the file system too. What is more, the user data in postgres is "indexed" by user directory GUIDs, and the calendar data also contains those GUIDs in attendee addresses. It is absolutely vital that when migrating from one box to another that the directory/user accounts are exactly preserved.
