Hello, i need some help with my iPhone 4 for Verizon Wireless. I have gone into stores and bought a new iPhone and that did not solve it.

My MMS does not work even if i have it on, it will get to the end of the bar and say it cannot send. i have an unlimited data plan

iMessage will not always work for me and it will just do the exact same thing and randomly switch. it will occasionally work.


If somebody has any tips please respond or i am moving to android because i cant put up with this anymore. i am not sure if it is my phone but i know others have simliar issues. I just hope it is a bug in IOS5.1.1 so i am hoping IOS6 fixes it. please help me!!

    MMS is a carrier issue... contact Verizon and ensure your account is provisioned correctly.  I would think that someone would be intelligent enough to do that before buying a new device, but......


    iMessage could be an activation issue or a network issue.

    Have you tried Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings?


    Does iMessage work consistently on Wi-Fi?
