Why won't my iPod won't power up?
I have either the original ipod or ipod2 and it worked fine until just a week or so ago. Now, it won't power up or charge. It's 8 years old.

Given that age, it's likely that the battery is completely shot at this point. You can have it replaced still by any number of third party services. You can also purchase a replacement battery and swap it out yourself if you'd like.
