Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
It's cool that Mountain Lion brought a flagged folder to Mail. But I've obviously read the messages I've flagged and this folder shows every flagged message like it's new.
I try to keep my inbox near zero, so it's annoying to have a bunch of messages nagging at me as if they were unread. Does anyone know how I can get these messages to stop showing up as unread?
I don't understand why anyone thought it would be a good idea to have a count of flagged items that looks exactly like the unread message count, and then not have an option to disable this behavior.

It doesn't look like there's anyway to turn this off from within the Mail.app, but hopefully someone smart will find a hidden preference that can. Anyone?
