    I can get my email.   Ok but can't send it out , I get the incoming mail but not the out going mail to work for me, can anyone help me with it

    I of course had the same problem after the latest operating upgrade (What a Joke)  I had to create an Icloud mail account to sent send mail.  It's a pain and just another control method by Apple but it works

    Had iPad 2 with iOS 5 - no problem at all for years in a row. Never lost an email.

     

    Just bought iPad 3 with iOS 6 - drafts / outbox disappear with no reason.

     

    I was typing emails from an airplane and hitting send (disconected). When connected, I expected to have my e-mails sent, but they was just vanished. No one received it and they are not on my iPad or Gmail server.

     

    By the way, if you try to add a Exchange Gmail account, apparently it is not supported by Google anymore.

     

    Several business emails was lost and never reached detination until I noticed the problem.

     

    IPAD BECAME UNTRUSTABLE FOR WORK!

     

    This problem is really severe and should be THE most important fix ever.

     

    Can I trust anything else on my iPad? Notes? Photos? Apps?

    I am having the exactly same problem.

     

    I send an e-mail when if I have no service then instead of going to outbox it just disappears.

     

    It does not go to sent items or outbox.

     

    I think it has gone but when I check with recipient and they never got and I have lost the e-mail.

     

    How did you manage to fix this problem?

    Everyone having an issue here, please elaborate. What is your email provider? Has your email worked previously? Go to: https://www.apple.com/support/macosx/mailassistant/ to find the corect settings for you email, and reference these articles for troubleshooting:

    If you happen to have Yahoo, keep in mind, Yahoo has issues with all devices that is not the Yahoo website. Yahoo decided to make their service their own, and makes it very dificult to work on other devices. Android, PC, OS X, and iOS all have the same issues with Yahoo. So don't blame Apple.

    Also, always check for updates. Often these issue happen, and updating will help. Last resort, backup your device in iTunes, and restore your device NOT from backup. This will erase everythign and start from new with the latest updates. Then setup your mail, and see if it works. If it works, then restore your phone from your backup, and test again. If it stil doesnt work something is wrong with the account/settings, if it works awesome.

    Have had no problem sending email from my iPad but now unable to send Email. Comes up server doesn't recognize my email. No adjustment have been made. Software is up to date and I have turned iPad off and back on. Still unable to send email.
