Messages I read this morning on my iPhone are not.....

on my Mac Mail app. I installed ML last night and this morning I read mail on my iPhone first and when I opened up Mail on my MacBook Pro, those messages I read just an hour ago (and did NOT delete) on my iPhone are not on my Mac. Also, I would like my Mac to be my primary mail tool-by that I mean that if I delete a message on my Mac, it is therefore deleted on my iDevices. That isn't how it is now-if I delete a message on my iPhone it does not show up in Mail. Thanks for any help! Judy
