Q: I bought a jailbreaked iPhone 3G and would like to un-jailbreak it. Can I?

I am sure that the jailbreaking is partly responsible for slow reactivitiy of the phone, and as I am not very technical, I would simply like to put it back like it was and use iTunes normally.

What do I do?

iPhone 3G, iOS 4.2

Can be risky. Depending on how your phone was jailbroken, you may NEVER be able to install a stock iOS back on the phone, and any attempt to do so could render your phone a brick. Apple warns about this. If that happens, you won't get any support here or from Apple, you'll have to use Google.

    Good luck.

Discussion of this is actually against the terms of service for the forums.

All you can do is try to restore it in iTunes.  If it bricks on you, then you are stuck with a useless phone, but all you can do is try and live with whatever happens.
