Q: Just purchased an iPad and am having trouble signing on. Each time I try the password, I get "iPad disabled - try again in 15, 30, (now it's up to 60) minutes. Can someone assist me in getting on?

Just purchased an iPad and had it all set up at Best Buy. When I got it home and turned it on, it asks for a password. When I type in the password, a message comes up indicating the iPad is disabled and try again later. The disabled times become more lengthy the more I try to sign on. Can someone help?

There is no way to crack the passcode. You'll need to play the iPad in recovery mode and restore it to its factory settings.

Plug into PC/Mac or wall charger, Hold home + power button until the Apple comes up, Release the power button, continue to hold the home button for 30 seconds.

    Restore from within iTunes
