Q: why doesn't it work to export reminders??

why can't i export all my reminders?? this is so frustrating!! i want to delete all this icloud crap on my mac and iphone but i don't want to lose everything that's now synced there.

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.4)

Welcome to the Apple Community.

You need to export as an archive, instead of exporting single calendars.
