how to stop a software update?
my phone is saying it doesn't reconigise my sim card from "simple mobile" i just want to stop the update!

from my uncle,im not sure what service he used before
so what should i do? i wont let out of this screen i want to be able to get to my home screen
There is nothing to stop... it has already updated the iOS on the device.
iOS is doing what it is supposed to do, activate using a valid SIM.
Your device is carrier locked, either install a SIM from the carrier it is locked to or contact them to see what their conditions are for unlocking.
