My ipad is only two months old and clicks on random things and zooms in and out on it own. It still has warranty but i was just wondering if there was a simple fix?
iPod shuffle (3rd Generation)
Settings>General>Accessibility>Zoom>Off
It doesn't get any simpler than this .... If it works that is .... Give it a try.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

Wouldn't that require user input? Double tapping with three fingers? The OP is stating that the iPad is doing this on its own.
