Well, DeltaKilo12,
I'm really sorry you are having such problems. However, did it ever occur to you that, at 14 years of age, you shouldn't be sending or receiving e-mails that you wouldn't want your mother to read? Perhaps instead of being paranoid, you should be greatful for all the technology you have been given and appreciate what wonderful parents you have?
For the record, I do not have any of my devices set up to check your email, as I, apparently mistakenly, thought you could handle the responsibility of having your own accounts. I guess I gave you too much credit and should start checking to see what you've been up to.
Your iPhone and iPad are now locked. When your father and I decide that you can have the use of those devices back, feel free to come and chat with me about things like this instead of posting on a support forum - OR at least have sense enough to use a member name I won't recognize. Until then, your only access online will be from the kitchen computer where you can be monitored.
TRUST - You want it? EARN IT!!
Love,
Mom
Change your password: http://appleid.apple.com > Manage account > Password and Security.
ive tried that, but because she knows my email she can just change the password back
Change your email password.
i have a mobile me account, its the same password
is their anyway to block devices from your account?
But if you change the password for your Apple ID, how would your mom get into your email if she didn't know the new password?
all she needs to do is press the "i forgot my password" button and she can change it
i cant completely lock her phone out of my account? prevent her from logging in, even if she does have the correct password?
If she clicked the Forgot Password link, it would send instructions to your email, which she cannot access without your new password.
in theory, that would work. But once you have the email on that device, changing the password won't lock you out of it.
which means she still has my email and therefore, recives the message to change the password
I cannot think of any solution for you, in that case, without you having physical possession of your mother's iPhone.
ok
thanks anyway.
