iphoto always asks to upgrade my library

since upgrading to iphoto 11, everytime i open the app I get a dialog box telling me i need to update my iphoto library. I update and it works fine. but I have to do it everytime i open the app...any ideas?

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.7)

Thanks Larry, i did try all the rebuild/permission fixes. I think i have a much deeper problem. I just updated to Ap3 as well and none of my ap2 library (it says it is now upgraded to 3.3) shows up in the aperture program.


The difference is that my Iphoto11, although asks to upgrade the library every time, does at least show my iphoto library. Ap3 no longer asks to update my library but doesn't show any of my folder, projects or photos.


I think i'm in a horrible place right now. son of a........
