my apple tv remote don't work

Are you saying the remote no longer registers on the unit?

Try holding the left arrow and menu for six seconds.

This solution worked for me

1. Ensure your battery is tightly placed in the remote.

2. re-pair the AppleTV and the remote by holding the left arrow and menu for six seconds. Hold the two devices close to each other.

Note, before you conduct step 2, you may need to re-start your AppleTV by unplugging/replugging in the power cord.

If after step 2 you get intermittent connections, then check step 1! The battery must be in place TIGHTLY!
