Personal developer account name change

Hello,

A project I was working on recently got a change in ownership, and now we have a problem of how to reflect this ownership change. Because it is a personal developer account, the easiest would be to just change the name of the account owner (basically to change the name that comes in the app's info page from i.e. John Doe © SomeCompany to Mark Smith © SomeCompany). However, by all accounts, it's a lengthy process and it isn't sure if they will approve it. Is there some way to expedite it? Can I call some telephone number directly?

The other way would be changing the whole account, but this entails losing the reviews, current placement, having the app unavailable for a period and generally ******* off customers.
