Hi everyone! im having a hard time looking for any solution to my problem. my ipod touch 4g doesn't have the Facetime app out from the box. Also,the app is not available for download in the appstore. Please help me install the app on my unit. Thank you!

you could find someone that you know who has it on their computer and drag the file onto your computer via the 'dropbox'. then you should be able to sync it onto you Ipod.

The FaceTime app can NOT be deleted. Have you checked all screens? Have you checked within existing folders? Have you turned FaceTime on from within settings? Please note that if the iPod was purchased in certain middle eastern countries, it will not have FaceTime.

Also, go to Settings>General>Restrictions and see if FaceTime is hidden by Restrictions.

If not then go to Setting and see if there is a setting for Facetime. Maybe you just can't find the app.

Sorry, no. Units sold in countries where FaceTime is banned can not have FaceTime installed.
