Running your feed through Feedburner won't help because your old podcast name will trigger ITMS into rejecting your submission.

If you do not want to change your show's name completely, append it slightly. Example:
"My podcast" - old podcast name
"My podcasts" - new podcast name

I had a problem last night with multiple episodes showing up in the feed, and iTunes wouldn't/couldn't read the feed.

What I did was go to the tech spec page and copy the example feed. I then filled in my particular details and re-uploaded it with the same name as the old feed. I then pinged the iTunes server a couple of times, and now it works fine.

The point being, why not fix the code that is damaged, and then give the file the same name as the old file, thereby replacing it. iTunes will find what it is looking for (file name) and read the new info as it wil be different from the old version.

Your feed validates in feedvalidator.org just fine.

When you "removed" it from the iTMS, how did you remove it? Did you ask the iTMS to remove it? Or did you remove it from your server?

If you removed it from your server, you don't need to re-submit it to the iTMS. Just upload the corrected xml file to your server. Then PING the iTMS so that it updates.
