Font size in logic - try to make it smaller it it blows up

I'm trying to get more bars per page, so i adjusted the overall font size from 12 to 9, and the staves stayed the same size, but the note heads and beams suddenly blew up to a huge size, I tried setting it to the lowest font size: 3, and it has become even larger. is this a bug? how can font 3 be so much larger than font 12?

Ben,
Not sure why this is happening but

To get more bars per page,
1) go into "print view" View>Print View
2) double click the Instrument Set box (top most on left hand side, mine defaults to "ALL INSTS"
3) in the window that opens, select New>New Complete Set
4) change the Scale [%] from 100% to something smaller

Alternately,
1) go to Layout>Score Styles
2) change the "Size" column value to something like 6 (mine defalts to 8)

I prefer the 1st solution above. Hope this is helpful,
Mitch

assign a key command for "create instrument set from selection".
also assign "open instrument set window".

don't try editing the ALL INST. you need to edit your own set. you can change the size really easily in there.

if you are in arrange, opening the score editor with some of the midi regions selected will create a new instrument set you can edit. good idea to name the instrument set.
