When I make a phone call or receive a call I can hear them but they can't hear me unless I use speaker. Any suggestions?

either your device thinks it's still paired with a bluetooth headset or it thinks headphones are plugged in, I would turn bluetooth off and then adjust the volume and see if it shows headphones on the overlay for the volume
if it shows headphones you may want to make sure nothing is lodged in your headphone port. you can insert your headphones and remove them a few times to clear any lint
if neither of those work, i would restore the device
