Since upgrading to Mountain Lion, I have had problems with iCal events and iCloud. iCal events created on my MBP would not transfer to iCloud (and hence my iPhone). However, iCal events created on my iPhone would automatically appear in iCal on my MBP.
I was advised to uncheck iCal on my MBP, sign out of iCloud and then sign back in. I did this and my calendar reappeared (albeit in blue instead of the usual red) and it seemed to be functioning ok (i.e. events created on MBP would appear automatically on iPhone). However, I now have the problem that some of the existing events are now unable to be edited (only on my MBP - I can still edit them via icloud.com or via my iphone). Even though I created all events myself, I am now listed under invitees as 'organizer' and the button appears at the bottom to Accept or Decline. This means that I cannot edit these events.
