My iPad video is in a zoom.

When I turn my ipad's photo to video mode in camera app my video is in a zoom comparing to the photo mode. When I check the video info on iPhoto it says it's 1080p and 24fps but the quality does not seem like 1080p. Is there any way to fix this problemq

1. You can't fix the "zoom" issue without using third-party apps AND seriously degrading video quality. Unfortunately, it's only at rcording 640*480 (or similar low-resolution resolutions) that you can shoot with as wide a field-of-view as with stills. Get FiLMiC Pro (it also has a lite version so that you can give it a test ride) and shoot at 640*480. Read http://www.iphonelife.com/blog/87/new-ipad-3-camera-tests-unbelievable-video-res olution for a decent resolution for more info.

2. the iPad 3 shoots at 30p (not 24p; albeit FiLMiC Pro is able to shoot at 24p too) and with a very good resolution by default. (See the same http://www.iphonelife.com/blog/87/new-ipad-3-camera-tests-unbelievable-video-res olution for a decent resolution test.) There's absolutely nothing wrong with its video quality, at least when it comes to effective resolution and fluidity (dynamic range and other parameters aren't very good - but the iPhone 4 / 4S' achilles heel is exactly the same).

My iPad video is in a zoom.
