I've recently migrated all my files to a new iMac. Now selected books that have been published successfully suddenly cannot be opened because this mystery index.xml file is missing. Spotlight isn't finding any such animal. What's up?

I checked all references to this index.xm phrase before I posted the question, and rechecked them again just now. Seems they all relate in some way to Pages docs. My ibooks file has no relation to any Pages document. They were built from scratch or brought over from ID. iBooks Author simply cannot find this reference file and I have no idea how to assist it. Any other thoughts?
There have been quite a few reports here from people having the same problem. I suggest to get in touch with Apple support and to send them both the .iba source file and the exported .ibooks file. That might help them to figure out what's wrong. It looks like it might be a bug in IBA.
