Q: Why won't Skype recognize my webcam?

I'm using a MacBook Pro, with a Mac OX S Version 10.6.3 opperating system. Skype won't recognize my built in iSight. I have made sure I have the newest version. I recently had to reinstall my software after replacing a faulty HD ribbon. Please advise...

    Mac OX S Version 10.6.3 opperating system.
    Use Software Update to update your OS to last version of Snow Leopard OS 10.6.8.  Install all the other updates that goes along w/it.  After the installation(s) repair permissions and then restart your computer.

     

    Skype won't recognize my built in iSight.

    Any problems you are having w/Skype should be dealt w/them.  Go to their troubleshooting website and/or their forums for help.  It's the place where the Mac Skype users hang out!
