Q: open appleworks?

I have a brand new os x 10.7.4. How and where do i open appleworks?

    You can't use AppleWorks on your new machine.

    AppleWorks is a PPC program which requires Rosetta to be able to run on an Intel Mac - unfortunately Apple have removed Rosetta in Lion and Mountain Lion, so you won't be able to run AppleWorks.

     

    The only solution is to run it on an older machine, or to boot from an external disk and run from Snow Leopard if your machine originally came with that or earlier. If this is a new machine running Lion or Mountain Lion then there is I'm afraid no workaround.

    Don't be AFRAID, be APPLEWORKS:

     

    Install Snow Leopard (with Rosetta) into Parallels 7 in Lion:
