Q: I cannot empty my trash box , and its saying there are some unlocked items, but still i cannot empty it . for this reason my mac showing me " Your start up disk is full ", what can i do , plaza suggest .

I have a problem in macbook white . I cannot empty my trash box . Its saying unlocked items and if i click All items remove , its not. And for this i cannot download anything or save in my macbook . its showing " Your startup disk is full " please give me some suggestion .

    right click on the trash icon in the dock, press  alt / opt on the keyboard and select empty trash

     

    you must keep at least 20% of your start up disc free, so delete or transfer data to a second hard drive to free up space if its needed.
