Gmail imap suddenly not working on mac
I posted this on a gmail forum, too, but on the off chance that it's an Apple product, last night, my gmail account made an independent decision to only be accessible through the web interface. On my Mac (Mail 6.0), I can send from my gmail account, but no new messages come in. Connection Doctor says that it can connect to the account. On my iPhone, I get the "imap.gmail.com is not responding" message. I tried going through the 2-step verification process, but this is not the issue either.
Does anyone have any idea what to do about this?
