Dear Sirs
I have an iMac with Mountain Lion and two user profiles running on. I need to migrate a new profile from a macbook pro with Lion, is it possible? using time machine or another method?
The migration tool creates a new profile? or replace an existing one? if I choose applications at migration tool, I will get duplicated apps in the iMac?

Sure. Just run Migration Assistant. It will create a new user account on the new machine. You won't get duplicate apps.
