XSAN 2 licenses ?
Is there any avenue for purchasing additional XSAN 2 licenses? Apple has pulled them from the Apple Store. I called the 800 number and was told they were discontinued about 2 weeks ago along with the Final Cut Studio (3) software.
The thing is, why would you implement XSan 2.2 now? Maybe read the DAS to XSan thread. There are less expensive and faster ways to do storage than XSan now. I pretty much feel that Apple giving it away in Lion/Mountain Lion is entirely for existing XSan users to be able to move forward to newer versions of the OS. But as a new implementation, with the Snow Leopard version? Kinda rough justifying the cost.
