Axis are the wrong Scale for my Data

Im inserting a scatter graph using Numbers and putting the data into two columns.

After I select the data, and select the "Scatter Graph" option, the data graphs in the correct shape, but for some reason does not show the correct values in the Y or X axis. I have tried everything I could think of.

And also, very sorry if this is a simple 'click-fix' problem 😉

I have attached pictures to explain what I mean. Oh and ignore the random "legend" passing through the x-axis. I just plotted it quickly to upload to AppSup.

Thanks! 😀

The problem is that your X data is in a header column. Scatter charts require all data to be in non-header columns. What it is plotting as the X data is 1,2,3,4...14 instead of your actual X data. Your true X axis data is evenly spaced, which is why the shape of the chart looks correct even though it is using 1,2,3 etc for the X data instead.
