Q: MagSafe 65W - Can it be used on a MacBook Air (Mid 2011)?

I was about to buy an extra MagSafe 45W for the office and I remembered I had one that came with my MacBook Pro 13" (65W).

Can it cause damage to the MBA's battery or its Logic Board?

It the connector fits, you should have no problems.
The other way around (low W charger to high W device) could cause issues with charging.

Bad wording, sorry ...

I'm sure it will work fine, and it will not harm your Air.
I use several devices on the same charger.

You can also buy an adaptor magsafe 2 / magsafe for use with older devices in the MacStore.

As long as the magsafe power rating is equal to or greater than the one that came with your MBA it will work fine.
Do not use one that has a lower power rating than the one that came with your MBA.
