When I use all inputs on my interface when recording an error shows and says that disk to slow. What is that? Is it my disk drive too slow or is it my settings? Thanks for any help
No im not using an external hard drive should i have a faster one? mine is a 5400 rpm. And im trying to use all 8 inputs to record drums as best i can. Im just not very good with computers and this is the first recording program i've ever had. Thanks
I would get an external hard drive with at least 100 gigs & 7200 rpms. The faster the drive, the more info it can read/write in the same amount as the drive you have now. And the 100 gigs is good for storage reasons.
A 5400 RPM is not up to the job, and below the requirement for what used to be called an "A/V drive". You'll see a huge improvement with a 7200 RPM device.
Yes probably that's the case,i have a Powerbook with 5400rpm Hd,i had the same issues.so when i bought an external(firewire) running at 7200rpm everything was ok.
No core audio problems.
--Also make sure you don't have your internal drive full, give it more that 25%(they say 50%) of free space for your system not to slow down when you are working with Logic until you buy an external hard drive if this is possible.
