Keep Projects and Albums Arranged By Date does nothing

Question

By name, kind and manual work correctly, but every time I select date, nothing changes and it retains the last choice.Using Aperture 3.3.2, OS X 10.8.I see this in the Console. Jon, you probably have albums imported from iPhoto in your Aperture Library, and these are causing the trouble, when you try to sort by date. These console messages are very typical for this kind of problem:[&lt;RKAlbum 0x1142745a0&gt; valueForUndefinedKey:]: this class is not key value coding-compliant for the key minImageDate.Deleting any iPhoto-album from your Aperture library should solve this, see this post  by AlexBrown ;Aperture 3.3.2 unresponsive if library contains old iPhoto albums - solutionThis worked for me, but I had to rebuild the library after deleting the iPhoto albums.RegardsLéonie

Thanks, Léonie. That looks like the right solution. Can&#x27;t really test it now because Aperture suddenly won&#x27;t open my library. Sigh. I just tried rebuilding, and now it&#x27;s hanging on "Opening ..." I guess I&#x27;ll wait and see if it recovers.

For it worked to launch Aperture with the options key held down and to create a new library, then switch back to the main library, if Aperture was hanging on opening.
