This Morning I received an email from no reply@me.com that stated my icloud mail service had been suspended.

Dear Daniel Freeman,

You have now exceeded your iCloud storage, including an additional amount provided to allow you to continue receiving email. As a result, you will not be able to send or receive new email messages with your iCloud email address until you free up storage space or buy more.

To free up storage in your account:

Step 1:	On your iOS device, go to Settings and tap iCloud.
Step 2:	Tap Storage & Backup.
Step 3:	Tap Manage Storage and choose items you’d like to delete or stop backing up.

For more information on managing your iCloud storage, please read this article.

To buy more storage:

Step 1:	On your iOS device, go to Settings and tap iCloud.
Step 2:	Tap Storage & Backup.
Step 3:	Choose Buy More Storage.

You can also buy more iCloud storage from a Mac or PC.

The problem here is that I have 3.21GB of Storage still available according to my iPhone, iPad2, and MBP. In fact there is only 9.2MB being used for mail on iCloud storage. Has anyone else had this issue occur? I have found no reason as to why this may have happened.

Thanks for the link, but that is not very helpful. The emial in that discussion is a warning of approaching capacity. Mine is a suspension of services.

Second, it is only sepculation from my side (that is why I am writing the folowing lines in italic):

There were a lot of threads about this issue since yesterday and also a lot of my private contacts and one of my family members also received the same message since yesterday. They all still have several gigabites of free storage space available, that is why I am thinking that something happened in Apple's iCloud data centers.

I personally would recommend to contact Apple's support team and would not start to delete several messages and other stuff. As the screenshot shows, you still have plenty of storage capacity so in my opinion there is no reason for deleting.

Yes I had read the Info first and I was assuming this error occurred to other people, which is why I posted it in the discussions. So far my mail seems to be working properly and I have NO intention of deleting anything on my iCloud storage. I will be calling support later when I have time (probably after work).

You are welcome! I just wanted to make sure that you are not going to start deleting messages and other stuff. As I already wrote, because of the numerous threads and messages in the last 24 hours I got the impression that something is wrong with the storage notification.

Just for home after a LOOOOOONG say at work. Didn't get an opportunity to call apple support today, but my iCloud email seems to be working just fine for now. I see that many many people have received the warning about storage space, but have Thad anyone else yet say their mail service was suspended.
