Power Nap on Macbook with SSD system drive

I have a Macbook Unibody late 2008 with the DVD replaced with a SSD acting as the system drive. The documents are the main regular hard drive.

Will Power Nap work with my Macbook? nad how would I know if it is working? Is ther a system app that controsl Power Nap?
