According to the app description page - you can use file sharing with iTunes, WiFI and other means to transfer the photos to the app. Did you read the documentation that comes with the app? Read the Help sections which can many times be found somewhere in an apps settings?

You can probably find you answers here.

Use iTunes File Sharing unless you want to keep / transfer folders; in the latter case, use FTP.

If you do use iTunes File Sharing, after the transfer, select a folder (or create a new one with "New" in the bottom left). Then, tap "Import" (second icon on the bottom left) and, then, "From iTunes". Then, just tap "Select All" and the importing will begin.
