My iPhone is locked someone did it as a joke and forgot the password and now I cant unlock it when it says go to iTunes which I did. What do I do?

You may need to put the iPhone into recovery mode : http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808 - you should then be able to reset the phone and restore/resync your content to it.
If you do it via a computer that it hasn't been synced to then (from here) :
If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present.
