Hi all i have mac os x 10.4.11 with partition of windows xp which does not work no more and it is taking up 30gb of my memory and it will not me delete it as it contains the start up program and so does Macintosh HD any one help me please????

Unfortunatly not, i have never had it as it was given to me by my school which aswell does not exist no more 😟
WE're SOL then in ten four, onless you can clone your 10.4 Install, reboot from that using the Option/alt key at Bootup, the Use Disk Utility to reformat the drive, then clone back.
Best way to get an exact bootable copy of your old drive to the new one is with Carbon Copy Cloner...
i have just tried to back up to a blank disc but unfortunately the blank disc comes straight back out... so i tried my USB and it was saying you would struggle to boot of it, any ideas?
You can't clone to a CD or DVD, you need a Hard Drive.
