I tried to update my apps after installing Mountain Lion, but I keep getting this error: "You have updates available for other accounts. To update this application, sign into the account yolu used to purchase it."

Not an error. Follow the instructions.
I'm using the same account I used to set-up the computer.
The account you need is your Apple account. The same email address and password you used to get to these forums.
I did that and it still doesn't work.
Do you have more than one Apple ID? As sig says, it should be the name (email account) and password that you use to log into these forums. If you need to change your Apple ID, visit http://www.apple.com/support/appleid/.

You have applications that were purchased using a different Apple ID account. Delete those applications. If you haven't purchased them under your account, do that. If you have already purchased them, redownload.
