i dont know what you mean by "a soft screen", but read this: To clean the screen on your MacBook, MacBook Pro, or MacBook Air, first shut down the computer and unplug the power adapter. Dampen the included cleaning cloth with just water and wipe the screen. Do not spray liquid directly onto the screen.

    I have been using iKlear products on all of my Apple equipment since back-in-the-day when Apple used to sell the products. Just go to Amazon and search for iKlear. I would get one of the 'starter' kits that has everything from travel wipes to a large chamois. I give my Apple products a good cleaning every Saturday (more often when the screen is smudged) and I've nothing but good things to say about iKlear.
