Q: Retina display options don't show up in Display Preferences - how do I get to them?

The Displays dialog under System Preferences on my new Retina Macbook pro does not seem to show the Retina display options for scaling text Attached is a screenshot of my display settings window which looks exactly the same as display settings on an older non-Retina display macbook. I was expecting to see the options described at http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5266 that would allow me to pick a scaled text size. Any ideas on how to enable these settings? Yes, it really is a Retina display (confirmed via the description in the About this mac window and the availablity of the actual retina resolutions in the list shown in my display preferences screenshot). Thanks in advance for any help.
