Hello, could someone please assist with unlocking the rotation on my iphone 3 with IOS 5.1.1. I have read other discussions and I don't have the option to double click on the home screen and swipe to the right. Swiping to the right doesn't work. Help please:-(

If you have an iPhone 3G, there is no Orientation lock, nor are you running iOS 5.1.1. iOS 4.2.1 is the end of the line for your phone.
Sorry you are correct it is not running IOS 5.1.1, however it is a 3G phone. I have a padlock at the top of my screen with an arrow around it.. If this is not the orientation lock what is it and why is my picture not rotating when my phone does?
It's okay I have fixed it.. The 3G does have orientation lock.
Do you have an iPhone 3G or iPhone 3GS? Settings>General>About>Model...post what it says here.
