Office for Mac Home and Student 2011?

I just purchased and loaded a copy of Microsoft Office for Mac, Home and Student 2011 version. After loading the software and entering the product key I could not open Word or Excel. I then noticed in my dock that this copy of Office for Mac also seems to include Outlook, which is not supposed to be included in the Home and Student version. It's all loaded on my MacBook Pro running 10.7.4. Am confused! ANy thoughts?

This forum is for troubleshooting Apple Software Update for Windows, a software package for Windows designed to update Apple products that run on Windows, and not related to Microsoft Office in any way. I suggest you post Office related questions on Microsoft's own forums for their Mac products.
