Canadian Postal Code / Auto Fill
My postal code kept reverting to gibberish in online forms and when I was trying to find a way to fix it I saw a thread on this board from people with the same problem. It has been archived, so I could not reply.
A few people thought that the problem was with their particular postal code, because when they changed it to a different one it would work. I'm not an expert in this field, but I think the only reason a different postal code works is because it is overriding the autofill. If you try to put in your correct code, it reverts back to the autofill value, which for some reason does not work.
I edited my preferences and removed the postal code from my address card. This field is now left blank when I autofill a form. I input my postal code manually and so far, it has always worked (previously it never worked).
I could not find a solution online, so I hope someone finds this helpful.
