My iPad 2 iOS 5.1.1 keyboard is frozen, and will no longer work. I've used computers of various types for over twenty years, and I've never had as many problems I'm having with the "great" iPad 2! If anyone knows how to remedy this problem, I would appreciate the help.

Have you done a power off/on? And then a soft reset holding both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears (ignore the red slider) and the iPad restarts?
If neither help, a visit to an Apple store genius bar would be a good idea to have the techs check to see what ails the iPad.
Assuming that you do not use a Bluetooth keyboard with the iPad or if you do that you have turned off that keyboard - try rebooting the iPad.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Yes, I've tried this, but it didn't do any good. I am constantly having problems with the iPad, so I may just go back to my laptop, which has Windows 7. I am totally fed up with Apple, and I sent them a message telling them so. Microsoft isn't much better, but at least, i works!

Thanks! I will try that again, because I may have not allowed enough time by letting go of the buttons too soon.
