When I attach my iphone 4 to my car auxiliary I can't hear the music unless I turn the car speakers up to maximum. I plugged in my daughter's iphone4S with same cable and her's works fine. Is there some configuration I need to setup on my iphone4 for it to work?

yes the volumn on my iphone is turned up. I tested my daughter's iphone 4S and it worked fine. I thought it was the aux cord but like I said it works fine on my daughters.
I fixed the problem I was having. I went to the "Settings" then "Music" then clicked "Volume Limit" moved the volume up all the way and I locked mine but you don't have to lock it. Then replugged in the aux cable from my car to my iphone and it works like a charm!! 😎 So happy!! 🙂
