Controlling Photo Order on iPad when iPhoto is not an option
Has anyone figured out how to control the order of photos on the iPad when they are imported using iTunes? I don't have a mac, so I can't use iPhoto.

It goes by file names. You can organize them by putting the photos in different folders (the naming of the folders determines how they are sorted) or you can rename the photos by changing their names (i.e. name the first photo you want shown as 1, the second as 2, etc. Of course they could be alphabetized as well but I think you understand what I mean).
