Aug 12, 2012 7:22 PM in response to alfino78by William Lloyd,That won't help. You need a MacBook Air or a MacBook Pro with Retina Display to use Power Nap. No machines with a DVD drive support it.

Aug 31, 2012 11:11 AM in response to alfino78by big.zez0,i havethe same MBP 2012 mid-2012 Retina and am on OSX 10.8.1 and i tride many times to install the power nap .dmg but everytime it states that my software in not supported on my system.
wondering why this is happaning when apple says that the power nap is for the new mac with retina
any help please !!!!!!
