Where has my address/search bar gone in Safari 6.0?

So far I like the new Safari 6.0 but some how my address/search bar, along with all the buttons on that same line, hide themselves. They appear if I do command + l to open location but disppear again when I start using the window again (like typing this question) or if I type in a search or url and hit enter. I've tried to customize the toolbar again, by deleting and readding the address bar, but that doesn't work. Anyone else run into this? Know how to fix it? Or do I just need to reinstall 6.0?
